Crown Reduction for Sycamore Trees
Today, we had a crown reduction project for 2 Sycamore Trees in one of UK's Residential Areas.
Crown Reduction is a Tree Pruning method that removes weight from the side branches so that the tree can grow lateral healthy branches which will then form the new crown.
These are the benefits for having your tree pruned like this two sycamore trees:
- Prevent major damage in ice or wind storms.
- Encourage new growth in a declining tree
- Prevent torsional cracks — branches that twist until they form long lateral cracks. In mature trees, torsional cracks are a common reason for failure.
If you want something similar done to your tress, then please don't hesitate to call or message us through one of our online forms here. We'd love to do a makeover for your trees!
